DOT to Pi????

interesting.

i'd always been told it wasn't possible to retest to the pi standard from dot.

this company seems able to test both dot and pi standards, but it doesn't say on the site whether they can actually cross test.

I've just spoken to Flame Skill, and the person who deals with this is not there until tomorrow, so i'll speak to him in the morning. The person i did speak to believes that it's not possible to convert the dot bottle to pi. Hopefully i'll have more info tomorrow.

PS, there is a test centre near me that will test dot cylinders to dot spec.

Thats what I thought tom just saw it and figured someone may have used them before on here? I just bought new bottles when I moved over tested to Pi specs. Looked at the website and got the same thing when I had called. Thanks for all the answers!!!

HPac won't even touch DOT spec bottles and they test every kind and size of gas cylinder going.

Ok, to put this to rest, they cannot retest a dot bottle to pi spec.

They can retest a dot bottle to dot spec, but only dot.

And they can retest pi to pi.

So how do tri test bottles get sorted out of interest? new pure energy ones are dot, pi and canadian????

they are made initially to the three standards
