Anyone who was at the over 35 event could not have missed the young man at the front of the crowd trying to bid for a marker with the 50p he had been saving. Unfortunately all the nasty big paintballers out-bid him so he missed out.
I was one of them, getting a Diablo Mongoose for a friends teenage boy for Xmas, but Jonny had an idea. As I had two markers maybe I didn't need one, unfortunately I didn't want to give up my Shocker, and as I said the Mongoose was already accounted for. However I do have an RT kicking around in an old kitbag so as he did promise to give the 50p to charity I'm sending it to NIck @ Skirmish to give to the young lad.

This is where you lot come in, the rt does have a air bottle but it's a 1.9 ltr and even I struggled with it at times, so does anyone have a smaller 3000 bottle kicking around, even if it doesn't have a reg.
Could make one keen paintballer very happy

I've got a 0.9L 3000 bottle lying around. It was new in 2002 so should still be in test. No reg though.

Just spoke to little Jonny's dad and the little Tyke isn't even 12 yet. So can't play till middle of next year. He's going to give it a go and if he enjoys it he will be allowed to have the RT. Also his dad has said he will make a contribution to next years over 35 charity fund when this happens.

Will post again early next year to see if anyone has any old kit to give to the young lad.

Judging by some peoples reactions to my post, a lot of you have been, or expect to be ripped off.
I just thought it might be nice to give a resourceful young man a good start in Paintball. If you want to contribute any kit send it to NIck@ Skirmish or Big Pete @ NPS, if you think either of them is going to Scam you then you don't know much about people in Paintball.

All I was after was a smaller bottle which has already been offered, I may live in Crawley but I'm not opening a shop selling second-hand paintball gear
