Oh what a beautiful day! Nice one lads for showing up once more for another spanker down at the Unreal Paintball site.
The party went down a treat the night before and as usual Chris fell asleep/passed out quickly after a glass of wine and a well downed Jack Daniels. The only thing in his favour was the fact that Kev our resident "ball breaking" marshall fell asleep about 2 hours before him. As usual I was the last man standing and even managed to clean around the sleeping beauties in time for the next days play
And the days play....well where do I start. A good turnout of 90 ensured the teams had plenty of firepower and there was a good mix of regulars and new players to the site. 3 mass Domination games were played throughout the day over the Sup-air field, the castle and Desperation our local wild west village. Play was hard and fast all day long and for the first time ever the game went to SUDDEN DEATH. After a close battle the Red team made a breakthrough in the Sup Air field and out very own Work Experience lad Sam made a dash for the flag and scored the winning points before being lit up by the defenders.
Nice work Sam and the Red Team. Im sure you would all join me in applauding the Blue teams part in a fantastic day.
Final scores...RED 800 BLUE 700
Once again a massive huge thankyou to all the staff who helped us out on the day and an even BIGGER thankyou for the attitude, fairness and utter madness of all the players on the day. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Special mentions to:
Forum junkie KILL CRAZY for keeping it unreal on Saturday night and for some truly breathtaking play on Sunday. Also for demonstrating how easy sliding into Sup Air bunkers can be, especially if you add cow s**t to the equation
The one, the only DR PAUL BAILEY for his technical genius and more importantly, his gay wellies.
JASE for obliterating huge sections of woodland with 9000 paintballs through out the day. Ive even heard he actually hit a few players too!
Insane marshall SIDESHOW for running the scariest gauntlet ive ever seen and thinking he could actually avoid the balls by running slower. Your turn next month Fish!
Oh and how could I forget. Big thanks to Garfield and the humping dog. Pictures up on the website soon. Bet you cant wait for these ones Chris .
Huge thanks to all who attended from everyone on the Unreal team.
