DOH yet another EGG II Question

Just got a clear egg II..

Anyone have problems with light interfering with the red eye sensors? If so how to fix?

And whats the best way to get the hopper feed tube to fit my angel feed neck? (way too tight at the moment) Iwas gonna chop it by 1 1/2 cm (seems too long) then slowly sand it down... or is there an adaptor that would be better? Thing is.. If I get it wrong i'm skroood!

If you get it wrong you are screwed to the sum of £3, for a new raceway!

There should be a silver tape around the feedneck, with holes where the eyes are to stop extra lightt getting in

What do you mean by problems with the sensors? Is it continuing to spin even when the ball stack is full? It *might* be due to the position of the paint and the eyes reading the gap between two paintballs. Try raising the hopper a quarter inch or so and see if that helps?

With regards to chopping and sanding, I found a dremel to be perfect for cutting it down cleanly (don't forget to put the bevel back on the rim!) but I haven't bothered sanding mine down - I have clamping feednecks.

Planet mate...shows a pic of teh whole hopper, but says raceway HALVES £1.50 each..get a pr, and a spare lid, cosz ur gonna need em!!

Try raising the hopper a quarter inch or so and see if that helps?

Good call dude! I just tried that... i'll keep that in mind when I chop it as well.

Oh and cheer for the heads up on the parts Skeet! I will get a spare lid.. seems to be a weak point of the design...

Gotta say tho... super uber smooth feed relative to my revi!

The best way to get the hopper to fit in an angel feed neck is to bin the original one and replace it with a clamping feedneck you do not need to sand it down then and it is one of the most useful mods for the gun you can get.

Had the same problem trying to fit my egg onto my LCD. I tried to sand it down but didn't have a couple of years spare time, then lightening hit me and all was clear, get Dremel my boy sorted it in a couple of mins, fits like a glove now.
