Does Japan/China play paintball

I was just sitting watching the tv and an advert for the world cup in Japan came on. It got me thinking, paintball in Europe and the US is BIG and most of the time Japan and China are always the first to come up with things, but not paintball. Do they play it over there or what, now that we've gone all electro you'd think that pball would be right down their street.

Japan is big on Airsoft....... you really want to take this thread down that route?

One of the (Many) cool things about Facefull magazine is the 'World Book' section with world wide coverage and information. They've mentioned Japan and China. Issue 4 has some good info. Japan only allows 11 mm balls, not .68 cal. They have a leage, the JPPL. Most of the fields I've heard of are near US military bases.

But there is a Japanese company (can't remember the name now...) that makes paintball equipment. One of their products goes into the Vortex Automag.
