I know this topic has been discussed before, but I just wondered if anyone else would be prepared to drop a few quid on a stock class marker this year and get together somewhere in the middle of the country to give it a go?
For those unsure, stock class uses a marker with a 10-round horizontal feed and 12g power source. There is also a modified stock class that allows for a pump action marker with a 10-round stick feed and 12g changer into the ASA.
A very good example of the breed is the CCI Phantom which can be had in a basic stock setup for $209, but marker tarts can still spend all sorts of money on stuff like this.
I will definitely be picking up a stock class phantom later in the year when money is available, just to have a tinker, and wondered if anyone else would be interested in having a game sometime in the summer. Just imagine, a paint bill lower than the green fee and you don't even need to wear a pack. I think it sounds like fun and could even improve some basic skills that can then apply to the serious stuff. So, is anyone interested?
P.S.- I will absolutely without question be organising a pump comp later in the year. I know the same idea came up last year and nothing happened but this year there will be some kind of pump event even if it's in my garden. People with strong wrists and fear of LCD's pleae PM me and we'll get to organising.
