This email was recieved prior to CC from a UK distributor, who shall remain nameless at this stage. I have changed the prices of the paint only, all the text was as recieved.

Available will be:

Evil at £1 per case

Zap - Standard Proball £2,

Zap - Proball Platinum £4,

Zap - Chronic £6,

Zap - 420 £8

(These are buy 3 get one free prices)

Let me know If you need anymore!

How would you have interpreted this email using the 420 pricing at 8 quid a box?

Option A: Buy 12 boxes @ 8 quid each and then get 4 boxes free.
or
Option B: Regardless of how many boxes you buy, you pay a flat rate of 8 quid a box.

Again, the real prices have been omitted and replaced with these figures for the use with this example.

A or B..........?

considering there's only one distributor in the UK who do zap...

Im also not quite sure how you find it misleading tbh.

If what actually happened to you was option b then it's misleading, but by not actually telling us i cannot see any misleading going on.

A) btw.

I think the paint distributor was letting you know the effective rate per case if you bought multiples of 3 at a time. If you wanted 16 cases you would have paid £128 (£10.67 per case) for the first 12, then £0 for the next 4 cases, averaging out to £8 per case.

I can see how people may have found this advertising misleading.
