Does anyone actually use slam pods?

Anyone???

What are they like? Are they very fast? Is it worth the cash?

I play back and really want to minimise the time my gun is down due to potting up, is the slammer going to help? (oh, and I spill far too much )

I used to have them. If you spill a lot, they're a great help. They're also really fast, plus you can fill up without even looking.
The reason I don't personally use them anymore is because i got fed up with the extension on my hopper. Plus it looked stupid; a black extension on a blue revvy....
If you get them as back player, make sure you get the extensions for the pods as well......

The whole system is very good. I've used it for 18 months and the only problem i've come across is attaching the collar to the hopper,it can be a bit tricky if you have to take it apart after a hopper burst.

i have used then a couple of times, only a couple!
but the only thing which seems to annoy me about them is that you can only empty full pots at a time!
which doesnt help if you already have half a hopper and want to top up before the **** hits the fan

So the pots must hold about 140? and the revy with collar holds 200. If you put the pod extensions on im guessing you get 200 in a pot, so you need to be near enough empty when you fill.

Id imagine that leaving the pods as normal you could simply pot up when "getting low" which means you can still be shooting as well.

I think im going to give them a try, if anyone has any for sale please give me a shout.

The standard pod holds 120 balls, with extension they'll hold 150.
