..... there are any sites in the south that would not object to a punter turning up with a phantom and letting him play with his pump rather than opting for a site semi???

A friend of mine is buying one of these classic's from those nice chaps in the Cameronians, and wants to use it instead of a semi on our next rec day outing. ( OK I'd agree he's a little strange... but wot ya gonna do?? He has a thing for phantoms * shrug* )

Seeing as the pump won't affect game balance ( having no where near the rate of fire of a semi ), do you think site owners would object and if so why?

most sites will say no because of the insurance purposes! however get in contact with holmbush (punter site not tourny site) they use pump guns with an optional upgrade to semi! so they may have less of a problem

depends where u want to go mate... most sites might tell you that they won't let you for insurance purposes but mostly that's not the truth... Delta Force in south London would be fine with that, otherwise just call them and ask

Of course, they'll want to chrono your marker (probably to lower than 300, more like 260-280fps)
