I have seen alot of sights advertised. Some made just for markers and some that I even have on a rifle. I have a Vertical feed on my Spyder Xtra. Bottom line, do they work or are they a waste of time?

Basicly it is all up to you it depends on the barrel and brand of paint and what kind of shooter you are if u run a round and fire till u hit some one don`t get one but if you like to post up and have a clear shot then go a head hope this helps

ive tried sights and they dont work for me. All i do is shoot and correct my aim from were the last paintball went so you know it just depends. A lot of time paintballs aren't real accurate at much of a far distance so you know if you want a sight it'll work but it just didn't for me.

I would not at all bother with a sight. Generally paint doesn't fly accurately enough for such to be really effective. The consensus is to use a reference point along the back of your marker, over the top, or off the tip of the barrel as you have it pointed, see where the paint flys, and adjust from there with more shots as a followup. Barrel and perhaps a regulator will be the two biggest helps for accuracy that you could get right now. The rest is of little consequence.

Practice time with your marker is all you need. A sight is usually worthless, especially with a vertical feed. Just try to practice with the balls that you are going to use at the FPS you are going to play at. Consistency in practice will insure that you perform when it counts and make you confident in your abilities. You can't practice enough.:) Have fun, good luck.

I've only ever encountered 1 player with a sight on his marker and that was back in the day !!!

It was on an old Bud Sniper 2 and the fella shot me right on the noggin...............

Dont believe in them myself but whatever floats ya boat ??

I have a DYE Izon Sight on my cocker. It rocks!!!!!! The sight uses a red bar, that when you look down it, with both eyes open in creates a red dot on anything you look at. All you need
to do is line it up with your barel and your there. Not only is it great fun in the range but very usefull if your posted and waiting for a player to pop out

check out www.a-teampaintball.co.uk

they have them in black and silver

Armson makes one like that too. I've pondered using it, and I've known a handful of people that use them some of the time, but equally as many or more saying not to bother. It can't be correct for all distances, so it'd be a tough call as to what distance to set it for unless you're a forward who predictably goes to the 50 off the break, for example.
