can you install planet eclipse qev on a etek, i've gota friend with a cash flow problem that wants a ego but cant afford a new one so he wants to buy a etek and do upgrades down the road. thanks jim

no you cant fit QEV's to Etek's, but you can fit different frames to them, but its require's some milling on the inside of the frame.

No, they do not fit the ETek's that is one of the reasons for the lower price, nothing major but still one of the features only given to the 05,06 and 07 ego's.
I have found it is possible to fit them, but the only issue for is that their is not enough room, milling would be required which is not worth the hassel.
ETek's are great as they are, few smaller up's and youve got an awesome gat to play with.

only upgrades i have on my one is the c-lever feedneck, and i used to use an ultralite barrel for a time.

QEV's (quick exhaust valves) improve the recharge rate of the bolt if im not mistaken which gives you a higher BPS, im not sure by how much but it should not be any higher then 3-5

Good question, to be really honest... I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do this year.
I don't find much interest in the domestic tournament scene. The same old crap and pissy lazy attitudes of a lot of the ballers over here gets on my wick. I'm at my happiest when i'm training hard with like minded ballers I get on with and there are clear personal and group goals. I dispise spending a fortune on paint/entry/travel for tounaments in **** weather, full of egotistical narrow minded lazy players and where you might get 40mins of playing time if you're lucky.
My GF really likes watching paintball and helping me out when I play and she's trying to motivate me to get back into the saddle. If/when I do get back into playing then I don't want to be half-arsed about it.
