Do i need a Drop Forward??

I am looking toi fit an on/off (think its called a mini rail? correct me if im wrong) a CP uni mount..
Can these bolt straight onto the grip frame of my marker? or do i need a drop forward??

if so, can all of them be bolted onto the gun? of do some require drop forwards? (like the Dye ones..)

when i bought my cp on/off purge i bought the cp micro rail to go with it...

mini rail all the way

i would advise you not to get a drop forward as it widens your profile when you play making it slightly more easier to hit you when snap shooting etc. dont get something that brings your bottle forward at all

How do you get the Feedneck off an Ion?? Should it just Unscrew??

Ok heres the deal:

Some "ASAs" (widely used way of saying screwy bit) will bolt or "mount" directly to your gun whilst others require some means of doing so - ie a rail.

CP do both "mounts" just bolt to the bottom of your gun and "Rails" which put a rail in place for a ASA to slot onto.

Drop forwards do exactly what the name says - drops your bottle down and puts it forward - unless to seriously hinder you playing stance, get off the idea of a drop foward

hahaha...... i think they'v glued them in cause they are a pain in the ass to get off..... steeley ended up gettin mine off with a towel n pliers...

anytime mate, yeah i got dazzasters feedneck off and it was a t**t to get off, i used pliers and a tower. still ended up puttin deep scratches into the fecker. but yeah mini rails the way and get a on/off with a purge.
