Do electros dream i hear thy cocker say, in the midst of the paintball store, counting electric sheep on endless nights in thy kit bag wondering on whether thou there is a point to exist as a servant to its master.

if so, why do i feel it too.

I knew y'all were pballers

but c'mon, it's a literary classic! I even gave you the author. Is there anyone out there who has actually read a book? :p No doubt you've all seen the movie. Good grief!

T-L: Ices hasn't been banned 'cause he has actually managed something sufficiently clever to make the rest of y'all look silly.

Baca - despite all their attemps at sci-fi cred talking about Star Wars characters, I reckon most of this lot have never read a decent book just seen films. And if the film happens to have a different name to the book it's based on, they probably wouldn't know.
Classic book (though not his very best), classic author, & they didn't even screw up the film for a change!:)

I always considered Phillip K Dicks "The Man in the High Castle" his best work (I love alternate history) but "Do Androids..." is a close second :)

As for not ruining the book for the film adaptation IMHO this is not entirely true of the version released to the cinema back in the early 1980's... but the more recent Directors Cut is terrific !

Nb. I liked the cinematic version of Blade Runner I just thought the book to be far better/darker in tone
