as title says - my macro line from the reg to the asa has got a long curve and it looks like it's got quite a lot of strain on it. shall i just leave it or cut it so it's straight?

Macroline being short and straight doesnt offer anything recogniseable in terms of performance. It does however, depending on your setup, make it more comfortable if you dont have to fight your way through marcroline to change which hand you shoot from.

Personally, I would cut it off. Ive also heard rumours of people diving on their lines and snapping either them or the fitting; however this was hearsay and nothing Ive seen personally and will be interested if someone can confirm this for me.

If you do have to take macro round a sharpish bend heating it under a hot tap (nothing hotter) before bending it into the desired shape and holding it there until cool can help. Please note if you do this and die in a cloud of plastic shrapnel then I have never heard of you, macroline or this forum. Where am I?
