DMC problems

bought myself a DMC a few weeks ago and the consistancy over the chrono is aweful.

any one know why its so up and down ? was going from 260 up to 320 allday

any help appreciated

Reg might just need a service.

There's a few things it can be..

1. Make sure all the bolt o-rings are in good nick, check the the 3 main bolt o-rings on the bolt itself.

2. The hyper 2 reg either needs a clean or the hyper 2 reg piston seat is dented.
That can lead to in-consistancy over the crono.

3. Whats you dell, lpr, hpr all set at?

4. have you had any problems with this before...

Did you buy the DMC new? It will take a few cases of paint for the Hyper2 reg to fully break in. If you bought it used, then strip the Hyper2 down, and clean/lube it.

I'm sure Ash will be on here soon enough giving you some pointers, but in the meantime I'd have the reg apart for a clean and lube up and see how you go from there.

As above strip and clean both HPR and LPR

Also change your battery

Make sure that all the o-rings on the bolt are in good nick and well lubed. I had this problem before quick change of o-rings and all was fine.
