DMA Hotels ??

I've looked through the hotels from the search facility on the DMA website, but I don't know A'dam very well....

Anybody got any suggestions of hotels near to the DMA site? Where's everyone else staying??

Dude, just book a hotel with the link on the DMA website. That's what it's there for, and yes, they are nice hotels, on good locations.

I followed the link, but it's just a search of all the hotels in Amsterdam!! I'm doing this trip on a tight budget, and want to save on as many taxi fares as possible, so just wanted to know which ones were nearest to the site...

Never mind - I'll just have to find each one on a map until I get close enough...

Try again with the second link (the BOOKINGS logo). That searches hotels in any city or region you want. Eventhough I am from the netherlands, my knowledge on geography is very limited. I think Haarlem is pretty close to the site, so you might want to phone up some of those hotels and ask if they know if they are close to the site (just give them the address/location...they'll know what to do).

Or you can use www.map24.com to find out how far it is from the hotel to the field.

Check out availablility of hotels in Haarlem, which is closer to the site than Amsterdam.

The hotel closest to the site is Hotel Slotania in Amsterdam.

You might want to have a look at www.bastionhotel.nl
This company has a number of not too expensive hotels in and around Amsterdam, all situated on the 'ring road', meaning you will be where you wanna be within 20 minutes.

thanks very much for your help peeps... We've booked in at the Van der Valk Haarlem Zuid hotel. Seemed pretty good for not too much, and not too far from the main road (Halfweg?), which runs from Haarlem to Amstrerdam directly past the site.
