hey all ive just purchased a dm9 and after receiving it found that it has a proto front reg is this the same and just the rubber surround different or is this a lower quality reg ?

yea they are exactly the same, the only difference is the outward milling but the internals between the 2 are identical
they are both hyper 3 regulators i am also a proto rail and dm9 user just proto has different milling as other guy said same internals they was used upto the dm14
