Ok i have to adjust my LPR to stop it leaking. Its not leaking from it now as ive got it to stop by ajdusting it but have ran out of paint to test it. So what i want to know is is it normal for it to for this to happen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

I turned it out. it will leak for a while but it i turn out the LPR the leak then stops. I still have air. I followed the manual where it says turn it all the way in until you feel resistance and then turn it out but it started leaking.

thanks

odd that the leak stops when you increase pressure, usually the other way around. Check your manual but if memory serves you wind the adjustment all the way in and then "I think" you wind back out again 5 full turns to set the pressure to standard, check the manual, I'm sure it tells you. If you have to go more than 5 turns (or whatever the manual says) then something is wrong and I would start by replacing the o-rings in the LPR, not a major job or get someone at the field who has done it before to help. OR, get it back to Dye, being a DM9 I'm pretty sure they will help, give them a call and see what they say. You can damage your marker if you over-presure, so may be worth the few quid to ship to a specialist.

It was leaking from between the frame and body around the area of the lpr. I managed to speak with a couple of dye techs and was told that if the pressure is to low it will leak as there is not enough pressure to make a seal and if the pressure is to high then it will not seal because of to much pressure. It is now all sorted and is shooting great, i think the lesson i have learnt from this is "if it isnt broken dont fix it!"

thanks for all the help though:Dguys
