Hello, thanks for looking!

My DM9 leaks every now and then - did it on a site day so couldn't use it, then when I tested at home twice it was fine. Then did it again the next site day

Quite a recogniseable leak coming from above the trigger/grip and below the bolt. I've emailed Dye a few times but could never get an approx cost back, but then I was told from a guy I bought an Ego 07 from that it'd be about £90.
I was planning on taking it to Paintfest and giving it to Dye to fix there but now I know the cost I'd like to make sure I definitely can't fix it myself.

Is there anything I can try?
I'm pretty new to the paintball scene but I have stripped the marker a few times to lube the bolt etc after play (by watching youtube video's)

Thanks in advance

Dan

As far as I'm aware all the o-rings are fine and there are no cracks in the milling etc. I've not had the marker apart to look at the Solenoid as I'm not sure how hard it is to get apart?
Or if it requires the Dye multitool thing.
I have the marker to hand but the OLED board is in New York being fixed by Virtue and I now have no air :(

Should I strip down to the solenoid?

Been told it could also be;
"Leaks from there are usually the bolt sail O ring, so don't go shelling out for a new solenoid until you've changed that O ring and made sure the bolt is properly lubed."
So i'll give them both a go ASAFP.

Had the same leak and concur with the above as it was my bolt sail oring. I believe the lpr provides pressure to one side of the oring and then exhausts to allow the bolt to move backwards and forwards. If this oring doesn't seal the low pressure air squeezes past the oring and continuously vents. I could be mistaken in this as I am not a certified tech by a long way but its what I deduced when I had the same issue and incorrectly thought at firstly lpr was leaking. Definitely try a new oring and lube it first.
