Looking for opinions from people that have used a PM8, I know how good the dm7's are, just looking for a comparison.

Having used both they're pretty much the same gun, just the PM has no on/off but is a bit shorter and has the funny 'hook' over the front reg, and the new reg mount threads make that area a bit thinner. Of the two I'd probably pick the PM as I never feel the need for an on/off and I like the feel of the Proto Hyper3.
Tough choice. Not a lot between them apart from length and the reg/front grip milling. Going to come down to personal preference.

Deffo DM7, simply because it is little chunkier. I played with both and DM7 is better, but that is just my feeling.

technology wise, the boards and self cleaning eye systems are the same, so it comes down to personal preference. i find the PM8 much lighter than the DM7 and with the new reg and finger groove, it feels alot nicer in the hands.

i've only held the PM8 and the finger groove is real comfortable, and you'll be able to get one new for the price of a secondhand dm7
