just really want to know everything about it...

performance... things like air efficiency, range, accuracy, modes, how good they are on paint etc

maintanence... how much TLC do they need, what needs doing frequently to them to keep them runnin smoothly etc

price... how much can you pick them up 2nd hand around here in good condition

just everything there is to know about them please!

2nd hand in good shape = £400 ish.

3 modes of fire:
- Straight Pure Semi
- PSP Mode ( a ramping mode that matches the rules of PSP)
- Millenium Mode ( ramping that matches the rules for the millenium series

Also on the board you have.

ROF setting: from 10bps - 30bps

Dwell setting

Trigger Sensitivity.

I Love my DM6, I look after it and it looks after me. Clean and relube the bolt as often as i play, Check for nicks in o-rings Etc. I would reccomend a O-ring kit, so you will never get caught out, ( guy's sell these on ebay.com etc)

DM's are known for eating through o-ring's but as long as you take care of them, and replace any that do look dodge, you'll be perfecto!

Efficiency wise, I usually expect 6 pot's and a hopper from a 1.1 3000ish fill. This can be fine tuned and "top hat" mods to increase this.
From my Hyper 2 reg, when everything is set up i usually only get +/- 3-4 over the chrono, but i've never done a proper test.

As for paint, I've found my DM is pretty good with all types of paint, It's more the Paint 2 barrel bore match that count's for me. I've been using my stock .688 barrel Ultralite which comes with it, and it's shot darts fine, (even in the freezing cold last sunday)

As i said, I love My DM6 i think it's my favourite marker i've ever shot. You simply can set them up to be perfect with your preference.

i think you just about covered everything there..ive got the dm5 with ul frame i dont think i will ever change my marker again
