I have a leaking DM6 at the moment. Its leaking straight through the bolt even when clean and lubed nicely. Going through the troubleshoot guide it says to check/replace the 013 o-ring in the top hat. However looking at the diagram of the bolt on page 9, its says that the only o-rings in the top hat are the 017 and then the 014, no 013 in sight.

I have tried replacing all the o-rings in the bolt yet unsure which sizing for this part. I have tried putting in 013 and 014 o-rings in but a duff batch of orings didn't show any improvement.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey,

I just had a bunch of leaks from my gun too. Its a Proto matrix rail, so I know that the guns arnt really similar BUT When I was changing my orings I found that the #014 #013 (I think those where the exact same ones as you but I can't remember) orings werent the right ones as stated in the manual for the exploded view of the bolt.

When I compaired the ones it said to replace they where ovbiously too big or too small compaired to the little paper size chart and the shape of the bolt. So I put ones that I thought would fit. Still had some leaks but I sorted then in the following way:

because I had my reg (The PMR only has one high pressure reg) screwed all the way In there wasnt enough air to cycle the gun. so I increased pressure going into the gun until It could cycle. shot it and increased again... did that about 2-3 times. checking for leaks each time.

That has sorted all my leaks and everything seems to work just fine now.

They key I think was to look at the o ring size of the ones you have taken out. they will be pretty much the same size unless they are REALLY worn which they dont need to be, to be causing a leak.

sorry if my post is unclear, feel free to ask me anything if you think it will help.

Hi

You are indeed correct, the manual is wrong, and should say to replace the 014 sized o-ring in the top hat. If this does not solve the problem, try resetting your Hyper2 regulator to 3.5 turns as you may have the pressure sett too high or low.
