DM5 Evolve or standard bolt

just a Qeury for all ya DM5 users

i got one last week and used it at training on Sunday due to the fills which were averaging 2500 psi

i was only getting a hopper and about two pots out of my marker this was with the standard Bolt

i have an Evolve Bolt which came with it also just wondered if this would make a dramatic difference to the paint a can fire

and which one you would all reccomend

If the Evolve is a good one it will improve your efficiency but increase the risk of breaking paint.

You should have got more than you state using a stock bolt and a 2500psi fill.

I would suggest re-tuning your gun and making sure that your bolt o-rings are in good condition and well lubed.

stock bolt all the way i have used them on both my dm4 and 5(my dm5 bolt was used by evolve to make their bolt for measurements) and yes they are a great bit of kit and well made i prefered the stock bolt due to bolt stick with the evolve and we had at least 3 players using them who all shoot stock only now

at the end of the day its your call and do you need to spend £90 for at best one more pot of paint from a 4.5k fill

by the way this is MY OPINION on the bolt and have big respect to the guys at evolve for making great innovative kit

i returned to my stock dm4 bolt as i had real problems with bolt stick with the evolve- also seemed to need lubing a lot more frequently.

Stick with stock
