dm5 air efficiency

hay there just wondering i have a dm5 and the only problem it has is gas efficiency i run dye throttle 68 bottle on it and i can only really seem to get 6 pots from a 4500psi fill. i have been advised to turn down my lpr done that and lower my dwell just wondering what do other people have there dwell set at. also any one got any tips on get more shots for my money post up cheers

Yeah...try the Lucky Bolt (not sure if they do a DM5 one eyt, but think so), or an Evolve..I say lucky first as they are much cheaper.
DM's rule, but they are gas hogs.

Using a thinner grease helps as you can turn the LPR down further still. The DYE grease supplied is OK if you live in California but is really too thick for Northern Europe. Try dow 33, Sh**cker lube or somthing like Mookies.
Our Dm5's used to do 9 pots plus on the DYE bottle with a standard bolt and Dwell.

Yep what Chuck said. Try using Slick honey or Dow as your grease. You can do various mods to cut down the size of the spool chamber (go to the other forum and search for 'top tat mod') which will increase efficiency by raising your operating pressure. You can also trade consistency with efficiency by cutting your dwell.

Re the evolve bolt, it takes some tuning and will increase your kick, there are also some bolt stick issues with it* but it is the best way to increase your efficiency.

* there are various homebrew mods to solve this problem there is also - allegedly - a Teflon bolt under development too. Again go to the other forum and have a look around in the Dye section.
