second how the hell do i stop it from spiking?? at times i see it jump +/- 20! i was playing at the 5 man rookie on saterday and i got called out as i hung the flag cos i got chronoed at 305.....i swear it was at 275ish.....

Can't think why the bolt wouldn't be getting air if it was previously but without looking at it I wouldn't like to comment too much, are you sure the bolt isn't under pressure when aired up? Take the bolt out, pull the front out so it would sit halfway out in the breach then reinsert the bolt, make sure it's still sitting halfway out in the breach and then air up, if the bolt gets pulled back it the fire position then your problem is elswhere.
Is the solinoid cycling?

As for the inconsistancy it's either a big varience in the size of your balls :)eek: ) or the HPR reg needs cleaning and re-greasing.

As an afterthought, try a fresh battery, a dying battery would give you inconsistancy as well.

First off check that the solenoid is firing by pulling the trigger and listening for a click (while de gassed). Then make sure that battery is new. I would also check that there is air getting to the bolt so make sure your asa on/off is working.

put the lpr and the fron reg back to the factory settings if you're still having problems. A quick search will let you know how many turns for each. Incosistencies would more than likely come from the paint to barrel match so make sure that you are using decent paint and that you have checked your barrel bore size against it. The reg would haveto be pretty messy to cause that much of a problem. If it was the o rings then yo would probably have a leak first and since you dont it seems they are ok. Over lubing would also quickly be sorted just by firing off the excess and wouldnt have an impact at the end of the game unless you didnt shoot that much paint!

If all else fails then give Fly a shout since he is the dye guru when it comes to all things technical!

Dude,

First thing to do with all DM's is replace the battery.

Make sure you have not turned the on/off round.

Check the bolt over once more - it should slide easily.

Listen for the solenoid clicking.

As for the spiking -

Paint to barrel match

Dirty reg - but it would be the first time I have known that problem

Always fire a few shots off before you hang the flag as the DM will go into ABS (anti bolt stick) and this raises the dwell time on the first shot to free the bolt.

And lastly - change the battery.

Peace
