Morning all

Collected my DM4 yesterday and tried it out, all fine except for a slight air leak, seems to be coming from around the trigger area. The marker cycles without any problems and chronos in the 290 fps range (+/- a few fps)

I haven't checked the manual just yet and seeing as we have a number of DYE techs on here I thought I'd ask first about what might be the cause/resolution before break out the tools.

Hi

If the marker seems to be cycling fine, then I would think that the leak is coming from the on/off tap on the front of the gun. Check all three o-rings on the tap, specifically the 009 sized white o-ring that lays around the side of the tap, check it for cuts or flat spots.

PM me if you need any o-rings.

Thanks

On/off tap at the front of the gun? edit checked the manual - I see the bit you mean.

Forgive me for asking but how would this cause a leak around the trigger?, is the air just bleeding down inside the body ad this is the first place it can get out?

I'll need to take a look at the manual...

cheers guys

A lad that bought a DM4 on here a bit back said he had the same problem and it turned out to be the on/off seals leaking like you mentioned.
