DM4 issues

10 GGGGGGAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20 I played with my lovely dm4 all day and it was lovely. The loveliness i cannot overstate.

30 I get it home, unpack all my gear (my airtimes pants were mouldy by the time they saw the washine machine), and try to turn on my gun.

40 Nothing.

50 I figure the battery is flat. So i change it and try again.

60 Still nothing.

70 GOTO 50

HELP!

(I apologise for the constant changing of tenses in this thread, when I get frustrated I often mix past, present and future tenses with disregard to the consequences. Sometimes, I even use lower case letters instead of upper case - when I'm really angry)

Open up the grip and try hot starting the gun. If you take off the men pad connector and then "short out" the top pin and the middle pin with an allen key or something similar it should turn on. If it does it is most probably just the membrane pad that has failed.

If that doesn't work check the connecting wires to your battery/microswitch.

Thanks for the help jeff, but I haven't got a clue what any of that stuff you said actually meant, apart from 'short' and 'allen key'.

EDIT: I just worked it all out. But it still doesn't work.

Everything seems to be plugged in fine too.

See the glass half full grass hopper. it mearly means its shopping for upgrades time!!! Get a virtue board my friend and will never have to concentrate on the walking of triggers ever again, instead you will just see all the heavenly glory. (said in bruce lee double hard accent!)

Well...if the board has failed your DM4 wont work. I cant think of anything worse.........can you?
