DM3 question

Hi all,

A quick question I thought I'd ask here as we have a few DYE marker specialists around these parts . I currently have a a DM3 with the tadao M5 board and a gold evolve bolt (a few other ups but I think these are the key ones to mention with the problem I'm getting)

Aside from it being a bit on the heavy side I'm happy with the way the marker is running at present except for the air consumption - off a 1.1 filled to 3000psi (can't get 4500 at site) I'm estimating about 500 shots. Anything I can do to improve this?

What are your dwell / Lpr settings?

Can't remember the lpr turns (stock LPR by the way), dwell is at the default of 14.

Bottle reg is adjustable - have that set at about 400psi, using stock hyper2 vertical reg.

tape/tophat Mod or Evolve do a delrin insert for your bolt

But since you have a evolve bolt kit that should increase efficiency quiet a bit

Sounds like a bad hpr / lpr pressure mix.

If you look at the 2 tail orings starting from the back of the bolt the first should be a 009 but you can put a 010 on the second to give a greater seal

could just be a bad 009 on the second groove the second is key to gas consumption
