hi buddy,

you're probably going to want to start with your dwell at what's recomended (i think it's 18ms off the top of my head) then tune it once you've got you're LPR set up

the best way i've found to tune the LPR is to turn it down completely (with air off or could damage reg seat) and work you're way up from there, this video explains it in more depth though:

another thing to think about is what lube you're using, you want to find the slickest grease that will still seal you're gun (hater sause works pretty well on dm's and i've only heard good things about monkey poo and lurker but they're a pain to get hold of, i haven't tried the virtue or techt ones yet either but they both look good) the right lube that will let you turn you're LPR and dwell down even further

a bit long winded i know but i hope this helps

This is what Billy wing recommends when it comes to set up. Obviously the board setting will be slightly different but the principle is the same regardless of what dm/pm or what board

Turn your ABS on
Set trigger sensitivity to 1
Set Dwell to 19
Service your bolt kit real well, change the 014 in the top hat and the 017 in the can.
Turn your LPR down until the gun barely cycles and go to chrono.
Check your velocity, if it doesn't shoot give the lpr a 1/4 turn out.
Turn the LPR up 1/4 turn at a time until your velocity stops going up and is consistant.
Every time you adjust the LPR take three clearing shots to make sure the LPR is reset, then chrono.
Once the velocity levels off only use the Hyper reg to adjust velocity.

Now go play, if you don't get first shot drop off all day then you should never touch your LPR again.
If you get some first shot drop off then give the LPR 1/4 turn up.

At this point if your gun ever starts having problems service the bolt kit, don't adjust you LPR.

you should be able to get it down a little lower with the billy wing bolt, you're best off setting it to stock to start with then dialing it down after setting your LPR

basically keep turning it down untill you start getting drop off then raise it a couple of ms just to be on the safe side, but remember it will probably need turing up in cold weather though
