DM10 Bolt

Hey, i should of asked this in me previous thread but anyway -
How do you take appart the dm bolt? i have the standard dm10 bolt, when watching online videos such as tech pb on bolt maintenance he unscrews the bolt into 3 or 4 pieces, i cant seem to seperate the bolt nor does it look like theres anywhere it would? are they different in the uk to the american ones?

hey buddy

the dm10 bolts are identical wherever you are in the world

they can sometimes be a bit tight but they do definatelly unscrew, this pic should explain better which pieces come appart

red= back cap

purple= top hat

green= can

silver= bolt

you should be able to simply wipe the lube off and use a rag or towel to get enough grip to unscrew them by hand

You need to take the bolt tip o'ring off before splitting the bolt.

It's marked number 1 on the lowest picture above.
