Ok, so I've been having a few problems with my DM5. There are 4 little black alan key screw in... things, in the frame. One above the on/off, one in between the bolt and LPR at the back and 2 above the frame. I don't know what purpose these little black things serve other than to create leaks, I assume they are some sort of safety thing to stop the gun exploding if it is over pressurized.
Now the one on the front and back are fine, the 2 between the frame and marker leaked. So I took them out and loctited them, put them back in and the one nearest the solenoid sealed perfectly and has not leaked since. The big one closer to the back that prevents leaks from the LPR has not.
I've tried a basic thread sealant on it, loctite 243 and loctite 248. But it still will not seal, the problem is it has a very short thread and it is loose. All the loctite I have requires the absence of air to seal, and it just doesn't get it on this short assed loose thread so never seals it.
My question is should I try a stronger loctite? I think some of the strong ones come with hardeners to make them dry... the screw is sealed through most of the guns operations, but I assume it is there so in the event of a problem it can unseal and release pressure. If I use a stronger loctite it may seal it so tightly that it could not unseal in such an event.
