DIY Shocker - What do I need.

Fancy having a go at building my own Shocker. What do I need?

Body
Bolt & Guide
Grip frame
Reg ASA
Board
Eyes
Noid
Feedneck
Detents
Trigger

Any suggestions, can I even buy after marker bodies?

i think (and i may be wrong) that shockers have more than one noid... but like i said, i could be wrong

The old shoebox shocker 4x4 had two noids.


The new ones only have 1.

Never seen any bodies around, been after some for my shocker.

Other things you might want are snatch grip(depending on which frame you get), barrel, shocker manifold(SP one or New designs do them I think). I think you have everything else.

Which reg you going for thinking about changing mine, if you find some after market bodies would also be interested.

you cant really buy aftermarket bodies...get a plain one and get it milled or diy

Probably cheaper to save your cash and get a sweet reanno job once you have all your parts together.

Any machine shop will be able to mill it, drill it etc, just depends on what you wan done, and make sure you know where cuts etc can and cant go...

you need the rods that sit in the body too - if you buy a brand new body they are supplied
