Try a Dive shop.

'Diving and Marine Services' in Urmston Manchester are paintball friendly. They fill all the bottles for Planet. a 12l 4500psi steel bottle should cost you somewhere between 130-170 quid.

Most dive shops will rent and are paintball friendly. Just explain to them its surface use and not actual water use. Bring them a bottle to show what your filling and to make sure there in test etc.

Buying is cheaper. But you could always do what we did and buy a compressor :)

Thanks for the help guys,

Im still stuck as what to do , i want a 15 L one but its a big spend out if i do it this month as im going away aswell! then its like another 50 quid for a din fitting or a clamp right?

I will see whats going on and find out what to do.

Another quick question

whats the difference between the fittings din and a clamp?

is that all i would need then to connect to the bottle then? using angel air btw

cheers!

Quoted from John's (owners) mouth...(cockney accent included)

"Facking paintbawlers naw 'bout as mach staff about 'aye pressured air, than wat we naw 'bout facking paintbawls."

He aint that friendly unless there is a girl on scene, which seems to make him activate 'happy chappy mode'...

You might have to double check that they got any 300bar tanks as they dont usually have them in stock. I will post the phone number up later. They also sometimes display second hand tanks which are fairly reasonable.

DIN fittings are basically screw in whereas A clamps are clamped onto the back...It is more common to find bottles that are DIN fitting so the general rule is to get a DIN fillstation. Also DIN fittings can be used at 300bar, A Clamps can't.

And yes that is all what you will need to connect your bottle to a dive tank.

-- Why not phone up though and ask whether they will fill one of their tanks for you to fill from, that way all you need for now is a fillstation to take into the shop..?
