why when i ring up dive shops about dive tanks are they happy to help until i mention paintball then they go all funny about selling them

just ask them for a dive tank 232 bar for 3000psi and 300 bar for 4500psi. fill rigs are different detween them though. 232 bar have a clamp rings and 300 bar din type fittings. make sure you buy your fill rig after the tank so you don't get the wrong one
232 (3000psi max fills) Bar can be either Din or A Clamp, or like the one i have for sale - both.
Always refer to the pressures in Bars as danrandon says becuase it saves them from being confused.

if there is a CORMETONS down there they are awsome and cheaper than any dive shop 4 fills also they 8nt cowboys, and fill them properly ie in a cold tank of water, dive shops tend to fill in the shop area (hot fill) and you get F all for ya money as when the air cools it shrinks and ya get less in the btl
i know a place that is selling off 300 bar carbon fibre tanks (used by fire service) for 80 bucks new type (tested) 60 bucks old type (tested) but they are in northumberland ??? the btls are very very very light and get a better fill than most steel ones the new type ones are good quality and basically look like large pmi btls lol i will be at bullies tourney on sunday, if you ring the dude and decide to buy it i will pick it up 2 moro and bring it down 4 ya

I had 1 in Worcester tell me that all paintballers are jumped up idiots that spend stupid ammounts of money on gear for such a pointless activity, then told me my bottle most likely wouldn't pass its next test as it looked like it feel off the back off a lorry at high speed - (looking at a STAB Jacket at £450 - we spend loads -riiiigghht) I Got the same attitude you got Ginge- I nearly pulled him across the counter - I Dont tend to mention if im filling a dive bottle what its for - but then again i dont get as much of a fill for some reason
wow does this guy know all the paintballers like like i say CORMETONS are pro PB and are Pro at what they do, not just some underwater swimming kit selling place but seriously give em a ring lads if i can bring em down i will, if not you will have to get em posted, but they are that light it wouldnt cost much anyway when i took my btl in to deep blue dive centre near where i live, they said they wont touch it coz it does not have a certificate being a carbon btl even tho it was clearly stamped with the hydro test dates etc i took it back to CORMETONS he then picked up the phone and bollocked the bloke for being a no nothing tosser which i found well amusing my favorite phrase was "you lot are a bunch of ****ing Cowboys......Cowboys that swim about in rubber suits looking at rusty stuff n fish ??????" best bit was that he serviced all the btls for that shop.....well he dunt anymore moohahahahaha

Not all dive shops are the same. I get my tank filled at Scuba and Outdoor Pursuits in Solihull and the guy's there are sound. They also have shops in Cannock and Newcastle.
