ok me ollie and mark are thinking about geting a dive bottle, but i told them that from a 12litre 3000psi(207bar) they would get about 2-3 full 3000psi fills in there air bottle then the fills will start droping till there is not enough in the dive bottle to fill any more.

I no i have read this in another thread but i just searched and whent through like 25 pages and didnt find it. So can some one please shine some light on this ASAP,

thanks

what you need to get is a 12litre 300 bar dive tank -which is a standard size -which shoulod pretty much give the three of you a full days play worth of fills - you will get a few 3000 fills then it will drop off till its not enough for a game - its not worth getting any smaller or lower pressure a tank

:)

you can also get 232 bar dive tanks but personally ive never heard of a 207 bar one

A mate of mine (AUpaintSoc) has one and it runs out realy quickly, get maybe 8-11 fills in total before these bugga all air left! Altho once you have the tank it costs the same to fill a 12 l as a 0.8:rolleyes: crazy

If you're looking to run 3 guns, then you'll need the 12L 300 bar jobs, as Dskize said.

207 bar is 3000psi, but they're not very common now. 232 and 300 bar are far more common.

Somehow i new you would ask me that one. Couldn't say, but i would have thought you'd get enough fills for 3 markers.

i though 300 bar (4500psi) dive tanks only came in 12 litre

you can get 12 or 15 litre 3000psi tanks

of course this is just the "diving" variety not sure of other larger commercial types

I work in the dive and dive retail trade, 300bar 12ltr cylinders are available in the UK (in very short supply at the moment) you may struggle finding one new.

15ltr 300bar are no longer available, but 15ltr 232 are easy to get hold of.. try for a cheep price

You can also get 18ltr 232bar cylinders but boy they are heavy. Don’t for get always go for steel not aluminium, and these cylinders have a 2 ½ hear test on them not like your marker cylinders.

If you must go for 232bar then get 15ltr, they cost about £15 more than a 12ltr and will give you loads more top fills. Back in the days before air on site, teams run off 5 or 6 cylinders, decanting from the lowest psi up to the highest.
