Disposing of CO2 bottles

I've got a 12oz CO2 bottle with on/off reg and I want to chuck it.

Any ideas about where the best place to dispose of it would be? The regular tip?

i'd just stick it with the propane bottles.

Cut it in half and make interesting ashtray!
