Right guys and gals

Just 2 quick questions.

I can either pay 500 odd quid for a Dm5, or 350sh for a Dm4. All i was wanting to know is that apart from the obvious differences of the models is there really THAT big a need for the price difference, i mean is the 5 really 150 pounds better than the 4?

Also do the Dm's run on HP or LP?

once again cheers

chips are crap the standard board is just as good i have had all the chips, boards, bolts and triggers and i have to say i found the standard one's to be the best in the end. the dm4 is ok but for £100 extra the dm5 is such a better gun its lighter, shorter, lower and has nice touches like roller trigger, built in rail and external trigger adjustment. the only reason i don't shoot a dm5 now is because i have a dm6. i have tried nearly every gun and found the dm series to be perfect. i only realised there could be improvements when dye released a new model. i even swapped an ego for a dm5. dye till i die (or get a free gat)

It's not that I'm disagreeing with Caspar, I don't know anything about DM's at all, just though I'd play Devil's Advocate and say that one gun will throw paint at 15.4 bps much like another, and if there was ever a rule that made sense, the capping of pretty much all UK domestic leagues makes it begin to be a much more level playing field...

Issues of physical size and weight are still relevent, but particularly the chip issue surely isn't with a speed cap on the series?

yes the caps are in place but you try driving a hot fiesta rs turbo yes its fast and handles well but you then drive an audi a3 1.8t quattro and yes its fast and handles well but its smoother with less rattles, a more sophisticated way of going fast. DM Series - a smoother, more sophisticated way of shooting 15bps (patent pending)
