well this probably will be moved to another forum but here goes with my explanation
the different series are as follows:
P.A. LEAGUE is the furture of paintball run by hatts and gillie who also run the paintball uk magazine this is the most professional of all the series out there and is being run to a extremely high stantard already that will improve ten fold over the next 2-4 years because of the need to become more professional,this series is a national league and can only be entered at the start of a season because of the way in which it is run and each team is named after there local town/area.This is 7 man sup-air centre flag format and is at a purpose built site.
SERIES 2K4 is another well run event by bully and his staff,It is another midlands type event and also sup air but this is two flag format and just as good as format's go,i don't know as much about this series but am marshallin it this season and it is well run and good to play with varied venues.
DARTFORD 7'S is a series run by dave stewart from rekka barrell's and kieran(????)this i had the pleasure of playing in last weekend and is also 7 man sup air with two flags and is also a purpose built site and will be improved over the season.(probably a bit far for u to travel though lol)
MIDLAND MASTERS & KOTH is another midlans run tourney and is run by the spc team i beleive this may be more to suite u another well run series and this is actually two series in one the mm is for amateur to pro teams and is 5 man i beleive and the koth series is also heald there which is 5 man novice tourney for newbies this is usuall a mixture i beleive of some sup air and some woodland?(please correct me if i am wrong on any of these,if ure reading this???)
SWPL = South West Paintball League this is another tourny series run by chris(syd)pelling and also has a koth division for the newbies this series has a lot of different formats as there is 5 and 7 man one day and two day events and varied venues again a very well run series and if u do manage to put a team together they do a event called heaven's gate and this is the best 2 day tourney in the country as far as i am concerened i marshalled it last year but will be playing this year definatly.
PGI 7's i am not sure about any of this event so i will not even try to explain it,try looking in pgi magazine for details.
what i will tell u alex is for tourney news in the u.k. u need to look at these web sites and go from there ok??
