Which material do you prefer for barrels and why? My personal favourite is titanium, but that's because it's the most expensive.

Other views? what about ceramic, carbon fibre and polycarbonate?

I agree with Buddha on this one, although I have a general preference for Alu since you can anodize it to all the puurty colors we paintballers go all giddy about.

A clear polycarb barrel might have a slight interest factor from a techie geek point of view, but only for about 4 minutes and 32 seconds.

Yeah your right, unobtainium is a hard material to source and very expensive ;)
