difference in etek and eclipse

hi guys
this may seem a daft question but is there a difference between a etek ego and a eclipse ego or are they the same marker??????

Etek does not have an LCD screen (led's instead)

Etek does not have an opti switch (microswitch instead, which some people prefer)

Etek does not have QEV's (Standard barbs instead)

I am sure there are one or two others I have missed.

The Etek is a scaled down / cheaper version of the Ego. Still shoots ace though

think you mean eclipse ego and eclipse etek... two different markers, both from Planet Eclipse

I find that 'etek ego' is commonly used to describe etek's that have been upgraded with a star frame which uses an ego lcd screen instead of the stock buttons.

Eteks are the scaled down version of its bigger brother the ego, abit more bulkier in the frame and weightier (but not much), ego's have all the goodies and look prettier too imo
