Difference between Eggy boards

Gonna sound like a munchkin but, hey - I'm used to it...

How do I tell the difference between Evlution boards (far as I know mine's a y board, but it doesn't have anything written on it) - and what are they anyway? Original board, y board and z board? Were there any others..?

Have bought a few Eggys for the team and wanted to be able to sort the chaff from the wheat, so to speak...

They've had 3 boards altogether the original board and the Y board are pretty much the same, easiest way to tell them apart is the original boards led is red in colour and flashes red, where as the Y boards led is clear in colour and flashes red. Also the circuit board on the original board is more of a brown green than a bright green. The aftermarket Z board for the eggs has no speed conroller button

the original boards also used to have a push button on/off switch. the newer boards have a flip switch.
