I cannot hold back, biting my tongue for any longer. That rapper - anyone who was there will know who i mean - wtf were you thinking. 'Jonny C' or whatever you called yourself - I hope your mum was there because she would definately be so proud of you. (WINKS) Nice dancers. Nice bank for spectators although that dead brown grass was slippy as hell. The best entertainment was on the spectator banks as players slid down the hill in kit bags, bins/trash cans and upon pieces of cardboard. This was funny and also well supported getting the loudest cheers of the day - almost. The roll out of games for the finals was also a little bit slow initiallly. Also i got a little bit annoyed at the fact that the final game between XSV and Infamous was held up for a few minutes by Chris Lasoya being late (Combing his hair or dealing with some pre-game nerves in the rest room?). I have to hand it to XSV for the first game which was the best game i have seen for a while. Then Infamous - wow working the opps, communicating together and looked to have excellent cohesion and also instincts wrapping it up cleanly and convincingly. Dynasty took Avalanche to the cleaners. Avalanche i thought looked tired and pretty much rolled over. Texas Storm - they were viscious, aggressive and clinical. Organised chaos see texas Storm. Colorado shooters were outplayed but it would have been nice to see them win at home. All the teams did well but Infamous stood out. Vendor arrangement and organisation seemed very good. I am sure some ppl will comment on the fields but you cant please everyone. The fact that it was felt covering a concrete car park caused a few injuries. I did see a lot of ppl with players arm bands limping around.
I will be interested to hear what other players/ppl thought...post em' up. Also opinions on what Chris was doing?

Good event
Maybe see you in Las Vegas.

BTW - Matty Marshall of XSV if you read these forums the first game against Infamous. That was the best play i have ever seen. Not sure exactly what happened but it was major +++ crowd pleaser. Turning a four on One into a win - near impossible. I only hope it will be released on the Denver NPPL dvd because i would buy it on the strength of this play.

very impressed...

PS No offence meant to Chris L - If you read these forums, would you care to comment?;)

Yeah but Matt's Victory was helped (HUGELY) by the moron in the tower (who had otherwise done a decent job) calling the game over before it was. Three of the Infamous guys thought it was all done since the announcer yelled over the mic 'Give it up for Infamous'. Can't wait for the DVD replay... I think Travis and Chris summed up how a lot of people in the VIP box were feeling at the time. There were many dagger stares going at the announcer's booth.

It's easy to shoot people who think the games over. :D But that said Matty did play a great game.

It's a good thing Infamous went on to win or I bet there would have been a lot of toys out of the pram. :D

My Texas boys did me proud! Especially after beeing booed as they were playing a home team for the first finals game... amazing how that changed after they started throwing almost everything they had to the crowd on winning. :D :D :D There is a lot of young talent in the team and to see them so stoked at winning was awesome. Although having to drive their tired arses 14 hours back to Dallas wasn't quite so much fun...

A great event, but I feel wrecked right now.

Much love out to all my friends I saw, and new ones made. It's never often enough that these things can happen.

That rapper made the baby Jesus cry...gads!

Someone needs to speak to the announcers about calling the games correctly... Good thinking by Matty, though.

The Body Glove Girls were dreamy...the blonde in the System X tent was a goddess as well.

LOTS of half-nekkid women walking around this event. Not just booth babes, either.

Good play by Manike's buddies on TX Storm...they're badasses, no doubt about it!

WDP could have done without the band that was there saturday...I wasn't impressed, but it was certainly worth trying!

The event itself was impressive...I knew what to expect after covering the Tampa event, and the NPPL didn't let me down in Denver. Many thanks to Camille for her support during the course of the weekend!

Oh, and the Tampa DVD kicks much ass. Especially since the 68caliber.com girls are in it!

I think the 'moron' in the tower was actually Marcus Neilsen, not the official NPPL commentator (Arty). What he was doing there I couldn't tell you.
Jonny F is a pretty good rapper, but it wasn't one of his better performances!
Love the Baby Jesus jibe though, I'm gonna use that one...

*blush*

I've noticed as I've started progressing further into my 30's that my pecs are starting to sag...and well...what can I say? Camille saw my plight and helped a hairy brother out!

Seriously though...props to Camille...the Media Center is the best idea since sliced bread...and Camille's stunning appearance doesn't hurt at all! She even looks good in a mask, for God's sake!
