Hi all

Got some tickets off a family member for christmas to go to Delta Force. Now I know the opinon of people on here about Delta Force. What I need to know is there anychance anyone has ever convinced Delta Force to allow people to use there own paint rather than paying the stupid £6 for 100 balls. My god i calculated it the other day and I would end up spending about £120 just on paintballs let alone the £10 they ask in advance and petrol in getting there. I feel really guilty not using the tickets but feel this will end up skinting me and don't want to take friends there if they are just going to get ripped off. So has anyone got any ideas on how I can get around this.

Cheers

The paintball tickets are a marketing strategy to get people to the site, and it works too.

Delta Force sites will NOT let you use your own paint, its how the business makes its money.

Anyone caught using non site paint is normally ejected.

But saying that its cheaper than the £2.00 per 12 shot tubes I bought when I started playing paintball.

Simple

The simple answer is don't play at a rental site.

They are NOT ripping you off they are running a business like any other paintball site in the country. A business needs to make money and cover the costs involved in running a business.

You don't go into Mcdonalds and accuse them off ripping you off because they charge £2.99 for a burger that costs maybe 15p so why do people who know the true cost of paintballs accuse site owners of ripping people off when they charge 5-6p or even 10p per ball.

No I understand all that. But it is just I usually play at OTE walk on days. It is just I feel guilty in not using the tickets seeing as they were bought for me. I guess it is time to see if some one out there is stupid enough to buy them off me.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I have put these on e bay and hopefully if they sell the funds will go towards a day at northern quarter or OTE. So I will still get a paintball day out of it. Plus will take some pics at OTE next week to show to the person who bought me the tickets cheers for that advice lovetone.

Hey,

Yes Delta Force are a Rip of company for many reasons. If you want to travel & play with your own kit then we will honour your tickets as entry & charge you this for your paint.

If you have your Own Kit: £45 inc 2000 balls

If you Hire Kit from us: £45 inc 1000 balls

You also have the choice of playing in 30 Acres of wood or Sup Air Ball formats at SE Paintball Village.

I know you will have to travel but will save you a lot of money in the long run
