K guys,
I have just bought a supafly bolt for my cocker, been told that if any oil gets on the delrin, it will swell and ruin the bolt!!! If this is true what is the most effective way of making sure the breach etc is totally clean?

Cheers
Stu

P.s Used my squeegie but there`s still quite alot of grease on the sides!!!

Not sure about the swelling up bit:confused: ,I've had various Delrin parts in various markers and its not something I've come across,if Delrin was that easily damaged by oil, manufactures wouldn't use it(well I hope they wouldn't)
If you're still worried don't lube with oil,use a thin coating of a good silicon based grease on all the internals...but not the bolt `cos as you know Delrin is self lubricating.

What kind of squeegee did you run through it? A straight shot?
Try it with one of them pull through affairs. Also, you can get a lot of the grease out by stuffing one end of the Cocker with a wad of tissue, and pushing it all the way out the other end with a straight shot.

Good luck!

Cheers guys, got it sorted, I devised my own squeegie (kudos 2 TB for the idea), I tied a piece of cable to a J cloth and pulled it through (very tight). :D

Bad points about the supafly from pbreview

"Pretty expensive unless you've almost gotten finished with your gun. If oiled it will swell and be worthless(BTW, I didn't do it, it's just obvious.) Not the lowest pressure bolt. Other than that, it's perfect."
