theres 2 types of delrin bolt out there, some have no o-rings, some have the groves so can be used with or without o-rings.
o-ringless = no need to oil, BUT as the bore size varies slightly from batch to batch of cocker bodies, unless its a near enouph perfect fit you will get gas blowing up the feed tube, which as we all know will not help you paint feed
o-ringed = YES you will need to oil the bolt as smartecosse says to help keep rings supple and not causeing major bolt stick. good thing about these type is u can test without rings or with, having the groves there wont make any difference other than giving you the option
as for the swelling, alot of people are thinking of how the old nylon bolts used to swell ( and the did swell like a b*tch
)
delrin dosnt seem to swell, or swell enouph to be measured.
