Delrin Bolt Scratches

Hello, my Eclipse Nexus D.A.R.T bolt has loads of scratches on it, well the front part of the bolt anyway (from The bolt fact to where the last o-ring is). is there any way i can make this smooth again? i have access to a polisher (a fixed one used for polishing plastics like acrylic and metals). would snading it and polishing it do it good? or just polishing it?

Leave it as it is.

If you start sanding and polishing, you may end up with a bolt that is way out of tolerance, causing blow-back and effiency issues.

Delrin bolts pretty much always get scratched up after a few weeks/months use.
