deadlywind carbon barrel

hi has any one over here in the uk got one of these carbon fibre barrels or had one. Ive seen one about a year ago but didnt think to ask if they are any good and now they do more than just cocker threads I may get one if they are any good

if its the same deadly wind barrel that im thinking of, then they take freak inserts. so if you have freak inserts..get it.

luke@york has/had one and its very good,takes the freak inserts and weighs nothting

thats the one, the one that takes the freak inserts i fancy one cos its got to be light? and i have a full freak kit for my markers and they now do angel threads thanks

i run one on my ion, its awsome but they only come in ion/impulse and cocker threads.

the web site definately says cocker, ion/impulse ,shocker and pre g7 angel threads

you have to be pretty careful with these if you are playing woodland and stick your barrel into the mud (a very noob thing to do!!) then rather than it clogging it will shatter and you will slice the **** out of yourself on the 6 billion shards!

are they a bit brittle on the end then? should not be a problem to me i like supair if i get a chance (which i hope to on the snetterton site)

yeah they are light and do look amazing tho just have to be careful with them!

Very nice barrel and no more fragile than any other carbon barrel however their not exactly quiet.

Ended up drilling a load more holes in mine for extra porting as it was almost like shooting an unported barrel.
