Hi

I borught a DP threshold from these forums a couple of months ago, the marker came new in the box and have never been shot before.

I couldn't get the gun to work at first but thought nothing of it, seen as I didn't spend much time trying to get it going. I also got the APE rampage board so I could use it in tourneys.

The problem is I've now tried everything I can think of to get it working and it just wont shoot!
Only once has the bolt ever shot and that was 3 times, because it was low power I turned the reg up and it hasn't fired since. I'm really stuck on this one and I can't think of a solution.

Anyone have any ideas?
If not does anyone know anyone/a company that I could send the marker to get looked at?
(reluctant to send it all the way to DP in the US)

Thanks for looking :)

Tom.

try replacing the battery for a brand new battery like a duracell or energizer one etc

i know that with the 1st batch of thresholds on of the o ring grooves was cut wrong and because of this it caused problems, the mod was simple just wrap some ptfe tape around the bolt before you put the oring on.

i will see if i can find the mod on pb nation for you

Try stripping the reg, mine had far too much lube on. Same with the solenoid shuttle.

Make sure the pin on the lever asa opens the bottle pin valve properly, my .7 bottle doesn't work but both pmi 1.1s do.

Then make sure the reg is giving reasonable output, I've got a gauge on an old duckbill to test just that.

Put the oring back on the rear of the bolt, mine came without it( sthg to do with dye/sp patent)

Does your solenoid click, it's pretty loud. Oh and if it farts but the bolt don't move it's the middle bolt oring, have you checked the oring that lives in the breach is intact too?
