Damaged preset...sorted by PMI!!

At some point when bouncing around in my bag ive damaged the top of my angel air lpr preset. A bit has chipped of and another bit has kinda bent over.. ( sorry for the poor photos)

Although i have tried it yet it does look like the threaded part will unscrew with two allen keys... Is this part replacable does any one know??

Ive tried used it since the damage and it works fine, due to the fact the o ring is still in place, but itd be nice to sort it out....

Any ideas???

you will need a brand new reg that looks completly shaged no way will it pass it's next test

it still works fine.. just wondering if the chromey bit unscrews and can be replaced without replacing whole reg!

If it aint leaking just use it , but i wouldnt pass it on,.
i think the flange at the top just holds the o ring in place, its not gonna come flying off when screwed fully in.
by the way its bottles that are tested , not regs

if you get incontact with a direct deler you might be able to replace it

I've done one of these before, can't remember who's it was though. I turned the broken section off to the other side of the o-ring, and replaced it with a new section.

If you leave it, it should work forever, but may chew the o-ring.

looking at the o ring it doesnt look like its got any damage..... yet..

i think youe should get it sorted it will be a lot cheper then getting a hole new reg

that was my mate Pete who had a similar problem
although, the preset always worked perfect chip or not...

I've got one that did exactly the same, a kind teammate left it sticking out the bottom of the bag when going from the safe area in campaign to the car park.

All that i have done it take a file to the rough edges and smooth them off, then just kept an eye on the o-ring. I also keep the o-ring well greased so that it doesn't catch and shred.

Been working fine the last 6 months or so.
