Hello all

I have used this link to find local companies to test my air bottle: http://www.sita.org.uk/idest/idest_members.php
Thanks to tommikka (I believe) for the link.

However, some companies offer different tests for example: Visual inspection; Hydraulic test; Internal shot blast.

What is it exactly I am looking for when testing my bottle?

Thanks
Oliver
Hydrostatic test is the one you want

Visual inspection only is an interim test required for dive cylinders (though first part of a hydro test is visual inspection anyway, but in this case it is only visual inspection that takes place)

Shot blasting is a maintenance option, and deals with potential internal rust provided it does not affect integrity of the cylinder - and is again for dive cylinders

Contact your local as per the list and make sure they are aware that you are enquiring about a paintball cylinder
